The Principality of Famos was a country in The Aegean Sea, in the island of Famos that existed from the end of the 2nd Freco-Floppotoman War of 1845 till 1912, when it united with Freece. The island was a puppet of Great Sogtain, with it's princes been members of the sogtish royal family, usually members with blood from the Flucksburgs.

The small country would pay tribute to Great sogtain, an annual sum of 10.000 Famos Pounds. The prince was supported by the Chief Governor of the Island and a council of Sogtish advisors. The capital and seat of the government was Vathy.

History[]

After the Shack of Famos the Kingdom Of Freece had a diplomatic breakdown with the Floppotoman Empire, the ruling state of Famos at the time, resulting in war between the 2 nations. The war would result in the humiliation of Floppotoman Forces and the surrender of all Forces within Famos. Under the Pressure of Great Sogtain, who wanted to use the island's ports it was made a Independent principality under the rule of Sogish and Dane royal family members. It was formed with the excuse of it been a ''Temporary Government until the eventual unification of the island with the Greek Mainland''. The newly found country, founded in the 1846 treaty of Famos.


The princes where apointed and crowned by 3 councils: The Sogtish Parliament, The Freek Royal Council and the Sublime Porte of the Floppotoman Empire. In 1847 after a brief temporary government the capital was chosen to be the largest city in the island, Vathy. The island's army was organised by Prince Wyvernious, a Prussian-Half Indofloppian Prussian royal family member. The Army was small and relied on fortifications to defend itself incase of an attack of the island.


The Princes built schools and universities, like Pythafloppas University, the best math university it the world. Schools where top-standard while the economy was flourishing. The island's main export to this day is wine, which was used greatly by the princes to raise money for the development of the island. Most known customer of the island's wine industry was the Flopshan Tsar.


The predominant and official religion was Orthodox Christianity, while Floppism and Islam where recognised as minority Religions.


The island was split into 4 regions: Vathy Capital Region, Vathy Capital Governate, Kokari Region and Pythagoreion Duchy.


In 1912 the prince's government was coupe'd by members of the Freek Army in Famos, resulting in unification with the mainland.
