Potato chip brand, known for their bland flavour and extremely tough cans.

History[]

Created in 1976 by Alfred Bingle as army rations, the cans were made extra tough so that they could be air dropped onto starving troops. To save on costs the chips were made and packaged using modified ammunition factories. Unfortunately this caused many injuries because the cans were often dropped without warning. The chips inside were often reduced to dust on impact. These factors caused the chips to be pulled from military use in 1978. Broke and stuck with a large supply, Alfred Bingle named the chips Bingles and began selling them to civilians out of his parents garage. Eventually he made enough money to buy the equipment needed to make the chips back from the army and he formed the Bingle company. The company continued to grow for decades until its decline in the 2030s. After Alfred Bingle's death in 2034 Bingles was sold to the Flays company.

Flavours[]

Plain: the basic chips with a little salt added. Said to taste like cardboard

Salt and fingers: a high protein and sodium option

Pizza in a can: an attempt to get into new markets the cans where filled with mini pizzas stacked on top of each other instead of chips

Cheeeeeez: plain chips with cheese stacked in between the chips

Onion: cans filled with sliced onions instead of chips

Use in explosives[]

Because the Bingles cans where so tight, enough pressure could cause them to explode. This was demonstrated one hot day in Los Flopelese in 2019 when a truck full with Bingles got too hot and suddenly erupted. After seeing this many gangs around the world started buying up large amounts of Bingles to make improvised explosives causing sales to rise over 300%. The Bingle company downplayed the event and did not fix the problem to keep profiting off the gangs.
