On April 21st, 1967 Freek Colonels Fleorgios Flapadopoylos, Fylianos Flappakos and Nikolaos Falazeos executed a planned coup to overthrow the Freek Governemnt. Together with the 25th Floppa national combined arms division and members of the tank training school, which commander of was Flappakos they marched on Falthens. The Divisions controlled by Flapadopoylos took strategic positions, arresting politicians, ministers and suspected communists from a list made during the planning of the coup. 2 tanks and 200 men of Flapadopoylos stromed Parliament killing the Prime minister and many prominent politicans. The arrested the chief of the army and forced him to tell the rest of the army to join in. At 6:00 Everything that could make sound in Freece told this message spoken by Flapadopoylos: ''Ο εντάς στρατων εν σωσι'ν τη'ν Φρελλας μεσον στρατιωτικη'ν επαναστανση'ν. Ζητων η Φρελλα'ς! Φρελλα'ς Φρελληνων Χριστιανων!''/The army shall save Freece thru a military revolution. Long live Freece! Freece of Freeks Of Christians!''. After a failed loyalist counter coup the government surrendered establishing the N.R.F.
